The Movies-When a model runs, it saves the results as "maps" (which are digital images) of the disease as it spreads. We give you two maps: one of the countryside and another of its wetness. This is so that you can see how the wet areas affect the spread of the disease. Be sure to look for changes in the environment map. It changes with the seasons.

The model also graphs the amount of infection in the landscape; you can think of this as the percentage of the population that is infected. Each column represents one month and the model runs for five years.

The images are put together into movies that you can play on your computer. So when you watch a movie, you are seeing the actual mathematical results of the model as they change over time (5 years).
